Sheep

Sheep farming is one of the traditional farming system ongoing in India since decades. Raising of the sheep is one of the easiest process and it is small sized calm animal and grows rapidly. Sheep farming can be beneficial both economically and in prospering the livelihoods of small and marginal farmers and landless laborers. In Northeast India, wool production from sheep is in high demand especially from Nagaland.
