Pangasius

Pangasius is a fresh water catfish native to South and South East Asia, it is also called as Basa fish sometimes commercially. It has a good market demand in North East India. The prices vary from 110/- to 140/- per kg at market. Cost of production in intensive mono culture will varies from 75/- -85/- per kg in 6-8 months.
