28-year-old Kabita Devi is a Fencer. In 2017, she won the bronze medal in the Senior National Fencing Championship held at Raipur, Chattisgarh. She has also participated in the Asian fencing championship held at Bangkok. Kavita, who hails from Lakhipur subdivision of Cachar district in South Assam, has won gold medals for India in fencing in 2019 South Asian Games.
