Black Phenyl

Black Phenyl is a dark brown or black liquid that is manufactured as a powerful disinfectant used in hospitals, drains and in lavatories. Its usage is often seen in hotels, hospitals, military facilities, homes, animal farms along with many other places. It is prepared from a soap solution base. It is a mixture of light creosote oil and water with soap. Creosote oil contains carbolic acid, creosol and other homologues of phenol which produces the necessary germicidal powder for suited incorporation of creosote oil in order to prepare the adequate mixture. Further Drug licence from the State Drug Controller is required to manufacture black phenyls carbolic acid or phenyl is harmful to skin of living beings.
