Pineapple Fibre

Pineapple is a common tropical fruit. Fiber is extracted from the pineapple leaves. It is multicellular lingo cellulosic fifiber acquired from the leaf of the plant. Pineapple fifiber is considered as more delicate in texture among all vegetable fifibers. The yield of fifiber is 2.5–3.3% of the weight of green leaves. Approximately 60 cm long, white and lustrous-like silk can easily take and retain different classes of dyes. Pineapple plants, with long leaves, specially cultivated for its fiber give the finest quality of pineapple leaf fiber.
