Launching a consulting business and leaning toward simple typography-based logo instead of symbols or icons. Clean, professional, but worried it might be too boring or forgettable.

Tested some ideas with https://www.namecheap.com/logo-maker/ideas/typography-logos/ – Namecheap’s typography generator has solid font combinations. Made a few versions that look clean and professional. Not groundbreaking, but better than my amateur attempts in Canva.

Do typography logos work in 2025 or do you need something more visual to stand out? Brands like Google and FedEx do it successfully, but they’re huge.

For small businesses, is text-only branding risky or timeless? What’s your take?
