I’ve got a few pages that GSC says are indexed, but when I search for their title or exact URL on Google, nothing shows up. It’s like they’re in the index but still not ranking at all. Could be an algorithm filter or maybe partial indexing? Is there a way to confirm if these pages are really indexed and searchable, not just technically “included”?
That’s actually more common than it seems. I had the same with a niche review site — pages said “indexed” in GSC but were ghosted in search. I used a tool to test how to check google index https://en.speedyindex.com/google-index-checker/ status manually for each page and it confirmed that some were soft-indexed (indexed but suppressed from search). It pointed out thin content and duplicate title issues that weren’t visible in GSC. After making changes and rechecking with the same tool, most of those pages became visible again. It’s way better than just relying on Search Console alone.
