King Chilli

King Chilli or ‘Bhoot Jolokia’ is the world’s hottest chilly of the world. In Northeast region, cultivation of King Chilli takes place in huge amount since decades. This chilli is used in pickles and many other dishes. It is also one of the costliest spice, whose cultivation can bring abundance to the framers and growth in the economy. ‘Raja Mircha’ from Nagaland was exported in a large amount to London for the first time in 2021. ‘Bhoot Jolokia’ received GI tag in 2008.
