Eri

Eri cocoon is very unique in characteristics and different from other silk cocoons. These cocoons are open mouthed and the filaments are discontinuous. Hence, Eri cocoons are converted to yarn in the spinning technology where the yarn is a long continuous length of interlocked fibers from the cocoon.
