I am currently in the US on the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program and after a couple of months of being here, I realized that I dream of living here. I have already started looking into various options for obtaining permanent residency in the US and many people have done so thanks to the EB3 visa. Will I also be able to get an EB-3 visa and stay here?
Were you in the US for studies or some work? How did you manage to get this J-1 visa at all? I applied for it about ten years ago, but for some reason I was denied it. But now I have permanent residency in the US, because I received an EB-3 visa a year ago. By the way, a couple of days ago I accidentally came across an article about EB-3 visa for J-1 visa holders on the eb3.work website, where I previously took all the necessary information to collect documents for a visa. In general, as you can see, it is possible to do it, but you will need to wait quite a long time until you get an EB-3 visa.
