Hails from the West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya, she found a way out to combat poverty by practising Jackfruit Farming as Garo Hills has a huge potential for mass production of this fruit. Her enterprise is driven by the will to create livelihood opportunities for farmers by helping them realise the value of organic fruits while enabling to add value to them. She has expanded her business ever since and is now the founder of 'Ama Food Products'. they deal with various food products ranging from pickles & spices to bakery items.
